\"\"Raffaele Gravina received the PhD degree in computer engineering from the University of Calabria, Italy, in 2012. He is the main designer of the SPINE Framework and responsible for the open-source contributions. He spent two years as researcher at the Telecom Italia WSN Lab at Berkeley, California. He is Unical’s PI of the RIA Horizon Europe Project MLSysOps<\/strong><\/a>, national coordinator of the PRIN 2022 COCOWEARS<\/strong><\/a>. He has been involved in several otehr research projects on WSNs, including H2020 Inter-IoT<\/b><\/a><\/u>,\u00a0AD-PERSONAS<\/b><\/a><\/u>,\u00a0BodyCloud<\/b><\/a><\/u>,\u00a0MAPS<\/b><\/a><\/u>\u00a0and the REWSN Cluster of\u00a0FP7 CONET<\/b><\/a><\/u>. He is co-founder of\u00a0SenSysCal S.r.l.<\/b><\/a><\/u>\u00a0and\u00a0Talent Garden Cosenza S.r.l.<\/b><\/a><\/u> He is IEEE Senior Member.<\/p>\n

He is author of more than\u00a0160 papers<\/u><\/a>\u00a0in international journals, conferences, and book chapters.<\/p>\n

He is currently serving as\u00a0Associate Professor<\/b> of Computer Engineering at the University of Calabria, Italy<\/u>.<\/p>\n

He is part of the University of Calabria’s governance (2025-2031), with the role of Rector’s Delegate for the Academic Rankings<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

His research interests are focused on high-level programming methods for Wearable Computing Systems, Edge-Cloud continuum, Digital Twins, and the Internet-of-Things.<\/p>\n
